This is a , Part Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We are looking for an Activity Worker / Driver who will be based in our Linburn Centre to train in and deliver a variety of activities and support to our veterans such as archery, bowling, woodwork, VR, acoustic shooting, and arts and crafts. You will be welcome to bring new ideas forward and provide the opportunities for veterans to socialise with their peers.  

You will be a key member of the staff team with an outgoing and organised personality. You will be innovative, creative and, have interests you can share with our veterans and above all you will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive, flexible and a caring approach.

We would love for you to have experience of working in social care, with adults with a vision impairment or other disabilities, or service veterans. We are happy to hear from applicants regardless of if they have that experience.

The driving aspect of the role requires you to be responsible for safely transporting veterans with sight loss, to and from the activity hub. We are looking for someone with a D1 licence or the willingness to undergo training to obtain this.
