The vacancy
The Scottish Braille Press, part of Sight Scotland, is a leading UK provider of accessible media – transcribing documents for a wide range of clients into braille, large print and audio formats.
We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Customer Service Adviser on a permanent contract within our Scottish Braille Press team.
You will assist in the re-design of business processes including clarifying, identifying issues, and facilitating changes to attain the highest levels of customer service and compliance.
You will provide high quality customer service and technical support to key stakeholders of the Scottish Braille Press. Your duties will include key client account support, client communications, handling queries, resolving any problems and escalating issues when needed, process development and testing, and systems user-development support, with a focus on key improvement initiatives.
This role requires substantial experience of customer account handling and technical support working in a commercial customer service office environment, along with excellent organisation skills and the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
