The Depute Head plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving our curriculum and areas of development within our School Improvement Plan. The Depute Head will lead curriculum development in a way that continues to build upon our reflective practice culture. This position is responsible for identifying and executing learning and teaching priorities, supporting the professional development of teaching colleagues and building partnerships with our parents and stakeholders. Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of complex additional support needs education. This role works collaboratively as a member of the senior leadership team within education services. The post holder will work with colleagues across care and education to ensure high standards of learning and teaching.
